Why I am a teacher
I am a teacher because I believe that children thrive when they have a place where they feel safe enough and known enough to let their true selves shine. When students feel comfortable and connected to the peers and adults around them, they can access their learning, take risks, and share their thinking. Teaching is my way of tending to that kind of space, where children can grow with confidence and feel proud of who they are.

Why I like teaching at St. John
I like how parents, teachers and community members all work together to encourage, support and teach the whole child.
