Families eligible to pledge tuition as parish members are expected to be active and participating members of St. John Parish for at least six months prior to school registration.
Being an active member of the parish means contributing financially, participating in Sunday Mass regularly, and sharing your talents with the greater community to build and sustain an active and vibrant faith community.
St. John Parish offers many ways to participate and be active in the faith community. These range from individual contemplative prayer activities to working on various service projects to being an active participant in the Mass as a lector, usher, or Eucharistic Minister. The foundation of our faith is the Mass, so it is important both for the greater community as well as for our personal faith that we try our best to be regular Mass participants.
In order to be eligible, and to remain eligible, for Parish Fair Share tuition, each family must meet the following criteria:
- Be registered in the Parish; you may do this at the parish office or online at www.stjohnsea.org
- Be active in the life of the parish including:

- Be supportive of or involved in one of the many ministries of the Parish
- File a stewardship pledge card if you are a new family or you have changed your pledge amount; otherwise, your pledge will be automatically rolled over from the previous year.
- Make a consistent effort to meet that pledge
