Friday, September 16, 5-8pm Meet new and old friends and greet the 2016-2017 school year at the Welcome Back Party and Carnival on Friday, September 16th from 5 to 8pm. This community event includes something for every member of your St. John family. Preschoolers and elementary age children play free games at the carnival, which will be hosted in the St. John gym. Middle school kids will be running the games which include face-painting, cake/cupcake walk, skee roll, the flying fish game, the crazy hat game and the big-mouth clown game. All of the games are free, and the kids like the prizes, too. Games are 5:00-7:30pm.
Parents will love not making dinner: food trucks are open at 5:30pm. Buy tickets in advance after school in the courtyard on Thursday, September 15th. You can also buy food tickets at the event. This year’s food trucks include Emerald City Hot Dogs (2), Taco Flair, and Zeke’s Pizza. Dessert from Nutty Squirrel will be free, courtesy of the Parent Association. Food trucks are available 5:30-8:00pm.
Join us for the 2016 Welcome Back Party and Carnival! We can’t wait to catch up with everyone and see how many kids are taller than their parents and teachers! Remember to bring chairs and picnic blankets.
