The Robotics Team meets Wednesday afternoons from 3:15 – 5:00pm in Mr. Tice’s room. Meetings will start in mid to late September after signups conclude. Mr. James and Mr. Tice lead the program. - Develop science, technology, engineering, and mathematics skills while having fun messing around with robots
- Participate in the Catholic Schools Robotics Extravaganza at Seattle Prep in the Spring.
Middle school robotics teams from around Seattle come together at Seattle Prep in the spring for a Catholic Schools Robotics Extravaganza to demonstrate their robotics skills around a common theme or challenge. Here is a copy of an announcement from a prior year’s extravaganza. Each year a different theme is selected. The St. John team entry won the award for “Most Sophisticated Programming” for both of the past two years.
