Holiday Greenery
The Christmas holidays are fast approaching and it is not too early to think about the greenery you will use to decorate your home and bring in the season!
Students in grade 8 are promoting the greens from L&O Evergreens, Inc. a local company in order to earn funds to assist those students needing some financial support for the trip to Washington, D.C. in the spring.
Available to purchase are beautiful Pacific NW wreaths, swags, centerpieces, and garlands. These beautiful items are created by the Turnbull Family. Turnbull Evergreens is a family run business located in Tacoma, Washington. They have been harvesting their own greens and making their own products for over 30 years. L&O Evergreens, Inc. is the fundraising division of the company.
Gary and Sue Turnbull are ‘hands on’ owners who participate in every aspect of the business. They are committed to making sure that the products they produce are of the highest quality and arrive at your doorstep as fresh as possible.
Deadline to place orders is November 10. Your beautiful greens will be delivered to the school for your pick up on December 1. You may also have wreaths mailed to loved ones, or perhaps Granny in Florida would like to order one to be delivered to herself! Shipping available in the lower 48 only.
Wreath making in the Turnbull family started back in the 1950’s, as Sue’s mother is shown here with a group of women sorting floral greens on the slopes of Mt. Rainier in the late 1950’s. Not a bad gig.
