WATT (Women Advancing Tomorrow’s Technologists) Returns

Girls in Grades Five, Six, Seven

WATT (Women Advancing Tomorrow’s Technologists) is a student-led nonprofit organization based in the Seattle area. The aim of WATT is to introduce computer science and logical thinking ideas to young girls in order to give them experience in a field that they may wish to pursue in the future.

WATT Session B will focus on web development.  Student will be able to build their own websites using HTML.  This is new curriculum from past offerings, so returning students are welcome.

WATT Club is for girls in grades five, six, held on Thursdays beginning February 28, for 6 sessions (2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4).  There is no fee for this offering; however, you may consider a $5 donation to offset the cost of snacks for the girls.  Space is limited to 20 participants.
