It’s not too late to ‘book around Greenwood’! Mrs. Longton shares an exciting opportunity for St. John families to get out in the fresh air! The Greenwood Branch of the Seattle Public Library and the Phinney Neighborhood Association are partnering to bring to families Bookin’ Around Greenwood, a community book cover scavenger hunt.
Here’s how it works:
- Look for 25+ book cover posters displayed at The Greenwood Library, local business, and community windows throughout our neighborhood. One of the posters will be “somewhere” visible at St. John School, too! See how many you can find!
- When you spot a poster, snap a picture or jot down the book title. If you have access to a printer, you can print out the instruction sheet. Simply circle the books you find and send us an image of your sheet when you finish.
- Email 3 titles/photos you find for a chance to win a gift certificate to one of our local businesses. Submit 10+ for an extra chance to win. Email to greenwood@spl.org.
