Visit the Parish Website for detailed information about Mass schedules, special events, and the Parish e-newsletter. The following are highlights:

Parish Picnic 2021     Save the date! The St. John Parish Picnic is back! Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 25, 2021. More details to follow.

Vacation Bible School     Save the Date! Vacation Bible School is back and will be held August 16-20, in Egan Hall Mezzanine. This year’s program, Tracking Mary: Mysteries & Messages, features the Queen of Heaven Express – a special holy train traveling to the faraway places around the globe visited by Our Blessed Mother:  Lourdes, Fatima, Guadalupe, England, and Ireland. Children will discover how Mary brings us closer to Jesus through the power of the Rosary and will enjoy skits, activities, and games. Look for registration forms in the coming weeks.

Annual Catholic Appeal     Where does your ACA donation go? We know that the Annual Catholic Appeal supports over 60 ministries in Western Washington, but what specific programs does it support? Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting some of these crucial ministries. This week, we are highlighting Hospital and Mental Health Ministries. Hospital Ministry provides grants for deaneries to respond to the needs of the hospitals in their regions. This model encourages parishes from each region to join together to serve patients and families who need support and healing. Hospital ministers pray with families, provide Communion, and accompany families during difficult times. Mental Health Ministry reaches out to parishes and schools to create welcoming communities of compassion, support, and education to reduce the stigma of mental illness. During the pandemic, this ministry offered several mental health and wellness webinars.

To date, we have received $39,060 of our goal of $91,896 from 91 families – that’s 43% of our goal! Through this one gift, each of us can embrace those who are often overlooked. The easiest way is to donate online at http://www.archseattle.org/acadonate or call the ACA office at 1-800-809-4921. Asante sana to those who have already donated!

Public Masses     We can now have public Masses with limited capacity. Reservations are required to attend Mass; visit the Parish Mass Reservation page here.
