Saya Ahn, Class of 2022 Saya was named a finalist in the Cooper Hewitt 2022 National High School Design Competition. The competition this year challenged students to design a more peaceful and just world. Out of 722 entries, Saya’s entry, Universal Health, Everyone Everywhere reimagines “the world of communication and healthcare by encouraging inclusivity as a step toward health equity and world peace…[her] brochure will allow the patient to express their needs, regardless of linguistic or speech barriers by removing social, religious, and gender obstacles so the patient can get the care they need.” Congratulations, Saya, and good luck with the next stage of the competition!
