Principal’s Letter

Congratulations, Class of 2022; we are so proud of you! It was wonderful and joyous to celebrate you – and your families – at Commencement. I am sure that your future endeavors will continue to make us proud.

Congratulations, too, to our Confirmandi and First Holy Communicants. As you take these important steps in your spiritual journey, do keep in mind Father Crispin’s advice to act in love, do good, and create little heavens on earth. Thank you students in grades 4 and PreSchool who partnered with our parish’s St. Vincent de Paul ministry to make hygiene kits for delivery to those experiencing homelessness in the community. The girls in grade 6 and Brownies in grade 2 made lunches of love for our unhoused neighbors. You are acting for the common good by helping those who especially need to be reminded of God’s love.

As we near the end of another ‘year like no other,’ I want to thank our wonderful community – faculty, staff, parents, guardians and students – for your resiliency, support and partnership. It is fitting that we kept our school theme from last year: Together We Can, because truly, Together We Did…Again.

Let’s end this year celebrating each other: see you at Friday’s School’s Out-Grill’s Out! Based on the current forecast – thank you, atmospheric river – buffet lines will likely be inside Egan Hall; however, there will be no seating inside Egan due to COVID guidance. You are invited to bring your own tents and chairs to set up a picnic outside on the blacktop. The school will also have tables and chairs set up outside regardless of the rain. Should the weather spoil our plans, grab-and-go meals and drinks (bring your growlers) will be available. Please be considerate of the neighbors as you park in and around the school; there are over 700 RSVPs as of today!

See you on the blacktop, rain or shine!
