Safe Environment Training at St. John School

If you wish to volunteer on campus or in the classroom, coach, chaperone or drive for field trips, participate in the ministries of the church such as ushers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, sacristans, CLOW, etc., then you must participate in Safe Environment Training. The next Safe Environment Training class will be in Egan Hall on Thursday, October 6 from 6:30-9pm (childcare is available; please let Sheila Marty know if you are bringing your child). Go to www.virtus.org/virtus/index.cfm to create a Virtus profile (under the “Registration” tab) or to register for this class. Detailed instructions about creating an account can be found here. (If you cannot make this training, check the Virtus website for other classes in the Seattle area.)

The St. John community is a thriving, vibrant community due in part to our wonderful volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please take a look at the Volunteering at St. John post for current volunteer opportunities. Please take care of the training now so you can be ready to volunteer when the opportunity arises.
