It’s Stewardship Season!

Mark your calendars. We are kicking off our 2023 Stewardship Renewal Drive the weekend of October 29 & 30, including the State of the Parish Presentation and video.

We ask that all of our St. John Parish members prayerfully reflect on their giving plans for the coming year. We will have an abbreviated State of the Parish presentation at all of the Masses on October 29 & 30. After the 5pm Mass on Saturday, October 29, a video will be available on the Parish website that shows our current financial picture, highlighting the great things you have helped St. John accomplish in the last year. We ask you to prayerfully consider your stewardship commitment for 2023.

School Families: To be eligible, and to remain eligible, for Parish Fair Share tuition, each family must meet the following criteria:

  • Be registered in the Parish—you may do this at the parish office or online at www.stjohnsea.org
  • Be active in the life of the parish including:
    • “Attend” the State of the Parish presentation by accessing it on the Parish website beginning Saturday, October 29, after the 5pm Mass.
    • Be supportive of or involved in one of the many ministries of the Parish.
    • File a stewardship pledge card if you are a new family or you have changed your pledge amount; otherwise, your pledge will automatically roll over from 2022.
    • Make a consistent effort to meet that pledge.
  • School families will receive their packets in the mail, which will include a pledge card and Stewardship Agreement.

Confirmation

Confirmation registration is open! We will start our classes in person in November with Confirmation scheduled for February. You can find the registration form here. Please return the completed registration form to the parish office, or by email to Julia Rudden. Books can be picked up in the vestibule of the church or the parish office.

2022 3rd Quarter Statements Coming Soon

Thank you for your financial support of St. John Parish! We know that Stewardship is an important and personal decision that is not taken lightly.

Each quarter we provide giving statements to you. This way, you can check the accuracy of your contributions and update your contact information if necessary. You will receive your statement via email. Those who do not have an email listed will have their statements mailed.

Please contact Teresa Gillett at tgillett@stjohnsea.org to let us know if you would NOT like to receive your statement (if you have not done so already) and include any new or different contact information if applicable. We will continue to mail the yearly tax statements.
