2023 Summer Learning Incentive Program
Research shows that students tend to score lower on reading and math achievement tests at the end of summer than they did just before the summer holidays. This phenomenon is sometimes called the “summer slide.”
To keep your child’s mind, body, and spirit active, St. John teachers are offering an opportunity to continue making growth over the summer toward our school-wide learning expectations. Ideas for grade-appropriate activities are below. Try one activity per category (mind, body, spirit) each week.
