CYO Cross Country

Cross country registration is open for Fall 2023!

Details

  • Registration
    • Grades K-8: Registration fee is $50.
    • PreK: Registration fee is $0. PreK runners do not compete but are welcome at the Monday and Friday practices and the Pumpkin Run! PreK runners must still register. You will find the registration offering for PreK under the program “K-8 Soccer 2023.”
    • CYO Scholarships are available by emailing Jonna Skokan, Athletics Director at jskokan@st-johnschool.org.
  • Practice: Practices start in September and will run from 5:30-6:45 at the Lower Woodland track (same spot as last season)
    • Grades K-3 – Mondays
    • Grades 4-8 – Tuesdays
    • All Grades – Fridays
    • PreK – Mondays and Fridays
  • Meets: Meets are currently expected to be on Sundays, mid-September through mid-October.
  • Jersey: We are moving to an all-sports jersey for St. John/Al CYO. If you currently have a purple shirt or a soccer jersey, you are set. If you would like to order a new jersey, look for the jersey offering in the registration process. Jerseys cost $35. All orders must be placed before August 15.
  • Competition: All are welcome in CYO XC! If you would rather come to practices and skip the meets, that’s fine – please register and come on out! All are welcome regardless of previous experience or speed.
  • Volunteers: We need all the help we can get – no previous volunteer experience or running experience is required! There will be a volunteer kickoff event in August as well as an open house for all signed-up runners. Please register early so that we can get in touch before the season starts.

Soccer

CYO League: Grades 1-8

Sign-up early to guarantee your spot on the team as teams fill up quickly. Register for CYO soccer grades 1-8 today! Practices begin before the start of school for older grades and around the start of school for younger grades. CYO is moving to an all-sports jersey which is similar to last year’s soccer jersey. If your student needs a new jersey, orders may be placed when registering your student (select the offering “ALL SPORTS JERSEY”). CYO Scholarships are available by emailing Jonna Skokan, Athletics Director, at jskokan@st-johnschool.org.

PreK and K Soccer Brought to You by St. John/Al’s and Happy Feet Soccer

Seattle HappyFeet is working with St. John and St. Alphonsus Parish Schools to provide a weekend soccer league for students in PreK & Kindergarten. Each week your player will learn a new soccer skill through our unique program that uses fun and exciting games to help kids develop bravery. Register for PreK and K soccer now.
