Parish News
November WAS Stewardship Month. And now it’s DECEMBER!
Please make your 2025 Stewardship Pledge!
Currently, 130 families have made their 2025 Stewardship pledge; thank you for your support! This is only 12% of our Community. Fr. Parrish has asked that we reach an 80% participation rate – let’s make it happen! Although this does not yet count the Rollovers, if you have never made a pledge, or have changes, please do your part and pledge NOW!
Questions? Contact Teresa Gillett at tgillett@stjohnsea.org. Thank you!
Christmas Movie Night, December 14

You can contribute to the cost of this event by bringing cash night-of, or via Venmo directly to St. John at @StJohntheEvangelist-Seattle. Sign up here.

PLEASE RETURN THE GIFTS UNWRAPPED to the Church or Parish Office by TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17. Thank you so much for your generosity in making this a wonderful Christmas for our neighbors in need. Broadview-Thomson K-8 Giving Tree Request: St. John Parish & School has had a relationship with BTK8 School for over a decade! Part of their Giving Tree helps students in need of gifts. This year, over 350 families have requested help. BTK8 still has 70 tags that have not been claimed. We hope that members of our community will consider taking a tag and donating. Please drop the gifts off in the Parish Office, and we will be happy to transport them to BTK-8. Click here to request a gift tag. Thank you in advance for your help with this important service. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT IN PLACE OF THE GIVING TREE.
Advent Wreath Party a GREAT Success!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Advent Wreath Party after Mass last Sunday. We saw many members of our Parish Family #14, and everyone enjoyed treats and conversation – over 100 wreaths were made! A HUGE shout out to the amazing volunteers: Anna Brunette, Bridgette Simon, parents of the Confirmation candidates, the Coffee & Donut Crews and so many other volunteers. We could not have pulled this off without you! See everyone same time next year!
