Principal’s Letter

The time has finally come – we are ready to pull the anchor and set sail at our biggest fundraiser of the year. A huge thank you to auction chairs, Lauren and Andrew Exnicios, fundraising administrator Chris Sourov, auction team advisors, Pablo and Aleah and Nick Valley, and all of the volunteers who have been hard at work to ensure tomorrow evening’s festivities are a success. Want to help out? There are still volunteer opportunities available, many hands make light work, and we need all hands on deck tomorrow night to ensure smooth sailing and a successful voyage.

The online bidding site is getting a lot of traction. Be sure to check it out; online bidding runs through April 6, 9pm – make sure you don’t lose out on your favorite items in a last-minute bid. In addition to the incredible items already up for auction, check out the packages and put together your game plan for the live auction tomorrow night. And, don’t forget the signup parties and 8th-grade wine glasses!

Still have raffle tickets? Remember, ALL raffle tickets, sold or unsold, MUST be returned to the school office tomorrow, Friday, 4/4. Tomorrow is also a free dress day for students, in celebration of all parents have done to support this year’s auction. Please review our free dress policy here (scroll to FAQs, “Can spirit wear be worn on Free Dress Day?”). Thank you!

Come tomorrow night ready to eat, drink and raise those bid cards, plan to bid big and bid often. Let’s trim sails for our fundraising goal of $365,000 for the Auction and an additional $100,000 for the school’s Fund-a-Need. We can do it!

Bon Voyage,

Principal Mansfield
