Principal’s Letter
It is hard to believe it was just eight weeks ago, we lost all of our PowerSchool data. I want to thank staff members Di Tran, Melanie Munoz-Solomon, Paul Kelley, Mari Halley, Steph Wade, and David McReynolds for the hundreds of hours they put into rebuilding this infrastructure, in record time, so we could have it back up and running for Trimester 3 report cards. This is a remarkable feat, thank you!
Tomorrow, parents of students in grades PreK-4 will receive information about creating a new PowerSchool parent account. This information will be delivered home by students and once an account is created you will be able to view online current student and grade information for your child(ren). Parents of students in grades 5-8, this information was sent home three weeks ago – check those backpacks. Every family must create a parent account. Come August 28, you will need this account to see your child’s homeroom placement for the 2026-27 school year.
Even though there are only two weeks of school left, our students have been busy with field trips and special events. I would like to thank teachers, the maintenance team, and volunteers for making these fun and enriching opportunities possible. From hiking to boating to extra recess and desserts, our students are incredibly fortunate to have teachers and parents who actively partner in the student experience. Today was especially spirited with Habitat Day and the Band Concert. Thank you, all!
Next week, we celebrate the Class of 2026! Wednesday marks our annual student send-off assembly, and on Friday, 8th-grade families are invited to join us for morning Mass at 9am, followed by an 8th-grade Parent Celebration in Egan Hall (please note: there will be no hot lunch service that day). Our graduation festivities will conclude on Sunday, June 7, with the Graduation Mass and ceremony at 1pm in the church. Congratulations, Class of 2026 – we are excited to celebrate this milestone with you!
We all have something this world needs,
Principal Mansfield
