Principal’s Letter
This week we celebrate and bid farewell to the Class of 2026. It is bittersweet as we will miss their energy, camaraderie, spirit, and humor, but we know, just as they made their mark on all of us, they will continue to live out the St. John mission, spreading ripples of justice, empathy, and kindness everywhere they go, as evidenced in the nearly 30 academic and service high school scholarships our students received. Congratulations, Class of 2026; well done – we can’t wait to see all the good you will do in the world.
Congratulations to our track & field athletes as well, as we head into the championship meet this Saturday! Come cheer on our team as 90+ athletes compete to repeat as team champions.
The celebrations continue next week with field day, preschool portfolios in the park, kindergarten graduation, and our last day of school tradition of popsicles on the playground. We are looking forward to celebrating these, and many other milestones with you. Please remember as you come to campus to participate in these events to be courteous to our neighbors. Let’s spread ripples of kindness and not park in front of driveways or in the Greenwood Elementary load and unload zone. Thanks for your help with this!
Thank you, too, for your generous support of St. John. As a reminder, for families who made an Annual Fund Pledge for School Year 2026-2027, a confirmation letter will be mailed between June 8-19. Recall, the Annual Fund is a donation and is NOT part of your tuition. This is billed separately through the Development Office. Payments can be set up for either 11 monthly payments from July 2026 through May 2027, or one lump sum payment billed in July 2026. To request a modification of your payment schedule, please email our Development Assistant, Melanie Munoz-Solomon, at mmsolomon@st-johnschool.org. Thank you for your continued support.
Thank you especially to Dick’s and the Donovan family for your incredible generosity – the Dick’s Mobile Truck pulled up to the black top today to cheers, with students enjoying a delicious lunch of burgers and shakes!
We all have something this world needs – Soar on, Class of 2026!
Principal Mansfield
