Your Input Is Requested

Archbishop Sartain has asked all parishes in Western Washington to participate in a planning process to determine how to best align our collective resources, such as priests, with the needs of the larger Catholic community.  Collectively, we need to plan for the anticipated reduction in number of priests while still providing ample opportunities for worship and other pastoral care for our parishes, schools and other missions.

Discussions have already begun among the leadership of the Parishes of the North Deanery, to which St. John belongs, along with 17 other parishes, 12 schools and several other missions.  Now it is our turn as parishioners to provide input.  Father Crispin will be requesting your suggestions for this important pastoral planning exercise starting the weekend of July 23.  Information will be provided at all masses, and opportunities for input will be provided at the masses, in the bulletin and on the website.  There are many possible models for sharing resources.  Please help us identify the models that are best for St. John, our sister parishes and the larger community.
