Let’s get ready for the 3rd Annual St. John School Jog-a-thon!
Mark your calendars and save the date – September 18
The school day will again include fun, running, music, crazy hair, prizes, incentives, and excitement.
That same evening we will celebrate with an ALL SCHOOL WELCOME BACK PARTY complete with food trucks, carnival, and more.
ALL JOGATHON DONATIONS WILL BE MADE ONLINE THIS YEAR!
A few things we are looking forward to:
- PRIZES: Free dress days, prize drawings for Scrip, and of course the ever-popular Silly String Showdown!
- THEME SONG: Classes will once again compete for a chance to pick the THEME SONG for the Jog-a-thon!
- KICKOFF ASSEMBLY: Friday, September 4, with surprises and fun announcements!
- INTRODUCING 99 PLEDGES: This year we are so pleased to announce the company 99 Pledges will be taking and tracking ALL jog donations. Thats right – ALL JOGATHON DONATIONS WILL BE MADE ONLINE THIS YEAR! You will have a chance to create an individual pledge page for each of your students to send out by email, Facebook and Twitter. Student pages are accessible by web and mobile and will be a quick and easy way to collect donations. If Grandma and Grandpa still write checks, you can have them write them to you and make their donation. This program has been a great success in other local schools and we are looking forward to using it! Watch for more info this summer.
