Holiday Clothing and Food Drives

Our students are living the school theme:  Together We Can! Students in grades 5 and 6 are spearheading a clothing drive and a food drive to help our neighbors. Please read below to see how you can help those in our community.  Our students thank you for your generosity!

Clothing Drive

Ella Baker Elementary needs clothes for their clothing bank. From October 25 through November 12, students in fifth grade are collecting gently used clothes for children in K-5th grades. Please wash all donated clothes, which can be delivered to students’ homerooms. The most needed items are leggings/pants, shoes (not boots), sweatshirts and raincoats. T-shirts, long sleeve shirts and shorts are also appreciated. Fifth graders will collect and arrange the delivery of the clothes to the school. Thank you for helping Ella Baker Elementary!

Food Drive

Students in grade 6 will once again lead the annual Holiday Food Drive to benefit families served by St. Vincent de Paul’s food pantry. The need is greater than ever. Please help our neighbors, and please help students in grade 6 make the Holiday Food Drive successful. Donations can be dropped off at students’ classrooms from November 1 through 23. Students may bring items as often as they wish. More information can be found here.
