With the school year in full swing, don’t miss what’s going on in our community. Every St. John parents/guardians/caregivers is a member of the PA.

Parent Education Events
The Parent Association is pleased to announce two Parent Education events in October. Join us and our experts as they present on important topics: bullying intervention and reclaiming childhood in the digital age.
Bullying Expert, Jodee Blanco – Special Community Event Sponsored by the Archdiocese of Seattle – October 7, 7pm
Join us for a FREE not-to-be-missed event for every parent, offering practical insights and advice from Jodee Blanco, New York Times bestselling author and acclaimed bullying expert. Brought to you by the Archdiocese of Seattle, this event will offer a 90-minute family workshop in which Jodee will share her personal experience with severe school bullying, practical advice for adults, insights into the impact of peer abuse and ways to heal.

The Anxious Generation, Jonathan Haidt – Parent Ed Event Sponsored by the Parent Association – October 15, 12pm
The Parent Association is taking a different approach to parent education this year. We are excited to partner with ParentMap to bring our school community FREE access to ParentEd Talks, a virtual series of 12 events featuring nationally recognized speakers designed to guide you through the ups and downs of parenting. The live, virtual events will be a 60-minute conversational exploration of each topic; recordings will be available following the event.
