Enhanced Preschool & Kindergarten Soccer
St. John’s preschool & kindergarten soccer program is a school sponsored activity open to all St.John & St. Alphonsus students. New in fall 2017, we will be partnering with Seattle Happy Feet Soccer to expand and enhance the program.
- When: Sunday afternoons around 4pm (exact times TBD)
- Where: Sandel Park in Greenwood
- Who: All registered St. John & St. Alphonsus Pre-K & Kindergarten Students
- How Much: $40 per player. Scholarships are available at CYO-scholarships@st-johnschool.org
The St. John Pre-K/Kindergarten Soccer Program is made possible through a partnership with Seattle Happy Feet Soccer. Parents are encouraged to coach and volunteer, but will benefit from the support of the Happy Feet staff in coordinating logistics and training. Each week players will learn basic skills and scrimmage with their friends. The tradition of a great soccer program for our youngest players continues to be a great way for families to get to know each other.
Shin guards are required and cleats are encouraged but not mandatory. Balls are provided for practice days but you are encouraged to buy your child a size 3 ball to practice at home. Youth small jerseys can be purchased if desired during registration. Pinnies are provided and used for scrimmages so jerseys are just for fun and likely a bit large. Questions?
