Coding With Kids    Game Development – Beginner/Intermediate Scratch – Half-day program for students ages 8-14. Aspiring coders can take their first steps up the Coder’s Ladder by building their first games and learning and practicing core programming concepts. No prerequisites for this class, limit of 20 participants.    Link here to register.

 

Cooking Club     For students currently in Grades 2 through 4.   Join our school chef Michael Strimban and Dietitian, Kara Dacquisto to learn habits of good cooking and healthy eating.  Limited to 12 participants.   Link here to register.

 

LEGO®    

  • Students currently in Kindergarten and Grade 1 – Intro to STEM, limited to 24 students – Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer- designed projects such as Trains, Helicopters, Treehouses, and Beam Bridges. Then use special pieces to create your own unique design! New and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.  Link here to register.
  • Students currently in Grades 2-5 – STEM Challenge, limited to 24 students – Master your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects such as Gear Cars, Gondolas, Merry-Go-Rounds, and Scissor Lifts! Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment.  Link here to register.
