St. Graduates John Kamalu ’10 and his sister Maris Kamalu ’13 have been busy since graduating from St. John. John graduated from Lakeside School in 2014 to attend Stanford University. During his time there, John studied abroad in Paris and spent a summer in India teaching computer coding at various schools for girls. John completed his degree in computer science in 2017 and is currently working at a computer company in Paris. John will return to Stanford in the fall to begin graduate school.
Maris graduated from Lakeside School in 2017. Currently a sophomore at Pomona College, Maris is studying molecular biology and spent last summer doing research at the University of Washington Genome Sciences lab. This summer she will be doing genetic research at the University of California-San Diego. Maris is looking forward to studying abroad in Spain next year.
