From the Parish

10:30am Mass Nursery Needs Some Help!  Our wonderful leader, Becca needs a temporary assistant to watch children age 6 months to 3 years during 10:30am mass. This could be a high school student needing a couple of hours of service per week, or someone who loves children and wants to give parents a chance to participate fully in mass.  You could do this from time to time or every Sunday.  Please contact the parish office if you’re interested, and Thank You!

  • Keep our parish priests in your prayers throughout the week.
  • Encourage your children, grandchildren, or other young people to consider a vocation as a priest or religious brother or sister.
  • Pray a rosary for more young men and women in our diocese to respond to God’s call.
Garden Work Party – Come join our new seasonal garden party crew! Saturday, May 18, and June 1, 8am-2pm       We are making an initial round of improvements to the church grounds and need the help of our St. John community.  We have appreciated all the hard work from our community in the past and are incorporating new landscape practices to make the grounds easier for us all to manage in the future. We hope you will come join us as we implement these changes. Sign up here for one of the two sessions – come for a day or an hour!  Lunch provided, BYOT (bring your own tools, if you have them!) or contact the parish office to sign up or ask questions!
