Parish News: State of the Parish

Visit the Parish Website for detailed information about Mass schedules, special events, and the Parish e-newsletter.  The following are highlights:

State of the Parish    We will have an abbreviated presentation at the 5pm Mass on Saturday, November 7, that will also be live-streamed.  After Mass, video will be available on the Parish website outlining our current financial picture, highlighting the great things you have helped St. John accomplish, and asking you to prayerfully consider your parish commitment for 2021.

School families:  To be eligible for or remain eligible to pledge tuition as a parish member, each family must meet the following criteria:

    • Be registered in the Parish—you may do this at the parish office or online at www.stjohnsea.org
    • Be active in the life of the parish, including:
      • Attend the State of the Parish presentation beginning Saturday, November 7, after the 5pm Mass – a link will be provided at a later date
      • Be supportive of or involved in one of the many ministries of the parish
      • File a stewardship pledge card if you are a new family or you have changed your pledge amount; otherwise, your pledge will automatically roll over from 2020
      • Make a consistent effort to meet that pledge

This year, school families will receive their packets in the mail, which will include the pledge card and contract.

Sacrament of Reconciliation     The schedule for Fall First Reconciliation classes has been updated. Please refer to the school calendar.

Public Masses     Seattle is approved for Phase 2.  We can now have public Masses with limited capacity.  Reservations are required to attend Mass – visit the Parish Mass Reservation page here.
