St. John School has a rich history, full of wonderful people who have added to our varied and vibrant community. One such alumnus is David Picht, who graduated from St. John in 1961. That year, he was part of the soccer and basketball teams, which both won the city championships! Mr. Picht’s parents, one aunt, three uncles, three brothers, and both sisters are also graduates of St. John. 
With a solid education from St. John, Mr. Picht attended Seattle Preparatory School, then St. Martin’s college, and graduated from Central Washington University in 1969. Mr. Picht taught grade school in the Highline School District, retiring in 1999. He is actively involved in community theater, having performed in over 60 productions! Thank you, Mr. Picht, for being a part of the St. John community!
