Parents’ Night Out!

Calling all parents of children ages 3-10: enjoy a night out after going to Mass with your children! On Saturday, February 11, drop off your children in Quigley (XDC) after the 5pm Mass to be cared for by parents and Bishop Blanchet volunteers while you have a night out in the neighborhood. Mass will be child-centric, so seat your family up towards the front so they can see and hear. We will have pizza for dinner and are accepting free-will donations at the door or by VENMO @StJohntheEvangelist-Seattle. Please use memo “PNO Feb” in Venmo. Space is limited, so sign up soon to register your children (include children’s names, ages and your contact number for the night of the event on the sign-up page.) Pick-up time is 8:30pm.

We need volunteers to make this event successful. Please consider volunteering. If you have a high school student collecting volunteer hours there are 6 slots available for students.

Friday Night Lenten Soup Suppers Are Back!

Come one, come all! The parish will be hosting two Soup Suppers in Egan Hall during Lent on February 24 and March 24 at 6:30pm. What better way to experience Lent than to come together as a community and share a meal? More information to come. If you have questions, would like to help with these events or provide soup or bread, please contact Teresa Gillett at the Parish Office, 206-782-2810 ex355, or email tgillett@stjohnsea.org.
