Parish News

November is Stewardship Month!

Please make your Stewardship Pledge for 2024! Asante sana to everyone who has already made their pledge. We ask that each family prayerfully discern their financial commitment to St. John for the coming year. The weekly offertory helps sustain our parish financially and serves the ministries at St. John and in the wider community. Although our collections in the last fiscal year were above budget, we expect costs to continue to increase. To help meet our budget once again, Fr. Crispin asks that if you are able, would you consider increasing your pledge? Just $3.00 per week will go a long way to help.

To make an online pledge, please go to https://bit.ly/Stewardship24.

If you haven’t watched this year’s State of the Parish video, please take a look.

School Families: One of the criteria to remain eligible for Parish Fair Share Tuition is to watch the video of the State of the Parish (if you didn’t attend the in-person State of the Parish on October 29) and turn in your blue Fair Share Stewardship Agreement form.

Annual Advent Wreath-Making Party

Join us as we make our Advent Wreaths together! We will provide all the supplies to make the wreaths, and there will be donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, and other goodies. A $10 goodwill donation will help cover our costs by check, cash, or through VENMO @stjohntheevangelist-seattle (enter “Advent” on the memo line).

If you are interested in helping out with this event or have a high school student who needs service hours, please contact Teresa Gillett at tgillett@stjohnsea.org – or just come on by!
