Gordon Lanser was awarded CYO Coach of the Year for Track & Field in June. Coach Lanser has been the head coach of the combined St. Alphonsus/St. John track & field team for the last five years. Recipients and their families attended a special Mass at St. James Cathedral presided by Archbishop Peter Sartain and were recognized at an awards dinner immediately following. In attendance were former St. John coaches John O’Leary, John Ward, and Scott Cary.
