Our Tap & Twirl class provides students the opportunity to be passionate, creative, and curious while learning the basic techniques of tap and ballet. This combination class offers a balanced introduction to both forms of dance in a fun, supportive, and informative environment. The curriculum is designed to be gender neutral as students build on their dance skills, memory recall, and confidence. WhirlyBuds provides parents newsletters detailing class lessons, including photos of their “buds” in action. The mini 6-week Winter session is the perfect opportunity to introduce your young one to dance, or allow your “bud” to keep tapping and twirling with us after school.
We will alternate between tap and ballet each week. No special dress is required, but it is encouraged that students bring tap and ballet shoes if they have them.
Winter Session – Grades K/1 – limit of 10 students, Tuesdays from 3:05-4:05pm, beginning January 10, includes 6 sessions (1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14/2017). Classes will be held in the Kindergarten classrooms. Fee $100.
