Heart Screening @ Ingraham HS, Nick of Time Foundation

Ingraham High School Athletic Booster Club and Nick of Time Foundation are once again sponsoring an all day heart screening at Ingraham High School on February 7, 2018, 9am-3pm The Nick of Time Foundation’s main goal is creating an awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death for youth athletes, with as many as 1 in 250 youth athletes having a heart disorder that they and their parents are unaware of that may increase the risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest. The screenings are an effort to help detect hidden cardiac abnormalities that often have no warning signs until a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.  Results are reviewed onsite by cardiologists and sports physicians experienced in ECG heart screens.

Screenings are FREE, but a goodwill donation will be accepted (suggested $25).  Parental permission forms and medical history forms (both required for screening) and more details can be found on the Ingraham Athletic Booster Club website at http://www.ingrahamathletics.org/.

These screenings are open to ALL YOUTH ages 14-24 regardless of where they attend school.
