Jog-a-thon 2019: The Finish Line in Sight!

WE ARE ALMOST THERE!     Our goal is within reach!  We have raised over $79,000 toward our goal of $80,000.  Students will earn FREE DRESS on Jog-a-thon Celebration Day, Friday, October 18, IF we reach our goal.  Help us cross the finish line, and get your donations in at 99Pledges by THIS Friday, October 4!  Proceeds help support the school’s operating budget, providing funds for school supplies, technology enhancements, and support staff.  We are grateful for your support of St. John School!

Prizes still up for grabs include:

  • Silly String Showdown with Señor Pablo and Ms. O’Leary will be awarded to the GRADE that raises the most by October 4.  It’s a VERY close race! SEVENTH grade is currently in the lead followed by FIRST grade and SIXTH grade.  Can you catch them?
  • Springfree Trampoline – for every $200 raised per family, an entry goes into a raffle to win a Springfree trampoline
  • $300 raised per family by October 4, earns your child(ren) entry into the popular Cash Grabbin’ Gecko game on Jog-a-thon Celebration Day

Mileage Recap – Students and teachers had an impressive day, running a total of 1,163 miles!  Department Competition:  Classes running the most miles by department:  Mrs. Jessup’s Grade 1, Primary Department (51.2 miles); Mr. Stinebrickner’s Grade 5, Intermediate Department (56.4 miles); Mrs. Brumback’s Grade 6, Middle School Department (55.8 miles). Students in these classes will be rewarded with a movie and popcorn party on Jog-a-thon Celebration Day, October 18.  Great job!
