Spirit Week: May 4-8

We are thankful for our students, parent educators, teachers, and staff!  In these uncertain times, we still strive to live our mission of being an inclusive Catholic community, committed to inspiring moral development, academic excellence and the courage to act for the common good.  We are in this together!  Let’s celebrate our community through Spirit Week!

Monday, May 4:  Mindful Monday

What mantra helps you get through a tough day?  What yoga moves help you calm down?  What breathing exercises help you the most? Email your mindfulness techniques to Jonna Skokan.

Tuesday, May 5:  Tasty Tuesday

Share some of your favorite recipes!  Have you tried making Chef Michael’s recipes?  Or design your own school lunch menu and take it further by making it!  Email recipes and pictures to Jonna Skokan.

Wednesday, May 6:  Get Out There and Bike Day

This year, we can’t gather together to celebrate Bike to School Day, but it’s still a great time to focus on safety and fun, so get out there and go for a bike ride!  Consider one of the City’s designated StayHealthy streets for your ride.

Thursday, May 7:  Educator Appreciation Day

Send your homeschool and virtual teachers a thank you note or a video message.  Make a sign, take a picture, and email it to your teacher.  Give your parent teacher a huge hug and clean your room to show your appreciation.

Friday, May 8:  Virtual Field Day

We’re excited to announce that our school community will be participating in the OPEN National Field Day.

Field Day is an important tradition at our school.  It is a significant day for our students and our staff.  In these incredibly challenging times this national event is a unique way that we can stay connected as a community and support one another in a fun and meaningful way.

All events are designed to be done indoors or outdoors using common household items.  You don’t have to purchase any specialized equipment or supplies.

You can find more information on Ms. Tsagalakis’s webpage.

Friday, May 8: Crowning of Mary Student Mass at 3pm.

Crowning of Mary Mass at 3pm. No flowers to the church, please.  Live-Stream on the Parish Facebook Page.

Send your Spirit Week pictures to Jonna Skokan.
