Students in preschool through grade 8 have an exciting opportunity to join St. John School’s Elf-in-Training Program and help our Unbound friends. The “course load” includes four kindness activities and a STEM project. Upon completion, students will be graduates of Elf College and receive a graduation gift!
Examples of Kindness Activities
- Acts of kindness for your family: Clean your room, take out the trash, tell a family member that you love them
- Acts of kindness for your school: Say please and thank you often, compliment a classmate, be patient with your teacher
- Acts of kindness for the church: Send Father Crispin a Christmas card, donate to your Unbound friend, pray for those in need
- Acts of kindness for your neighborhood: Pick up trash, make cookies or art for an elderly neighbor, say “hello” to someone on your family walk
Completion of activities and projects is on the honor system; students do not have to turn in anything.
