As part of our annual outreach programs with Assumption Parish in Bellingham, please join the St. John community for volunteer events with Agape Service Project.
Farm Workers BBQ (June 16): Meet up with prayer, orientation and pre-meal prep at Assumption Parish in Bellingham. Travel to rural farmworker housing in Whatcom County. Onsite activities include a BBQ dinner and activities with farmworker families, including sports, crafts, reading, art projects, etc.
- Program Fee: $20/person (covers dinner & snacks for participants and service)

Mobile Food Distribution (June 18): Meet up with prayer, orientation and food prep at Assumption Parish in Bellingham. Travel to rural farmworker housing in Whatcom County. Participants will distribute meals to approximately 140 families and participate in summer onsite activities with families, such as art projects, games, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, etc.

Food Bank Volunteering (June 19): Participants will undergo a brief orientation at the food bank in Lynden, WA with prayer, followed by volunteer service distributing food at the food bank. Volunteers will help close down and tidy the food bank, followed by prayer, self-reflection and departure.

- Max: 30 participants (volunteers ideally need to be older than 10 years old to work at the food bank)
