April Hot Lunch

The Hot Lunch ordering portal is now open (order here)! The April menu (here) includes perennial favorites like grilled cheese sandwich and French toast bake. Be sure to try new dishes like cheese ravioli with basil cream sauce and honey mustard chicken; Chef Stephanie and the Kitchen Crew are certain they will become your new favorites. The portal closes on Thursday, March 28, 11:58pm.


Lost and Found

Recall Lost and Found will be cleared on Friday, March 29, at 12:15pm, and items will be donated to charity. Be sure to check Lost and Found (lower west hallway) for any missing items before the Easter Holidays. Please make sure to check in with the front office before heading to Lost and Found.


CYO Track and Field

Registration for CYO Track and Field grades 4-8 is open! Practices start after the Easter Holidays, April 9, at Nathan Hale High School (Tuesday and Friday, 7-8:30pm) and Whitman (Thursday, 6:30-8pm). Friday practices are optional. The registration fee is $60. Financial aid is available; please contact Jonna Skokan at jskoskan@st-johnschool.org.

Track and Field is a volunteer-led sport, and this year we have a few asks:

  • We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator. This person will help coordinate the volunteers for our 4 track meets.
  • Field Coach (throwing and jumping): If someone is interested, we are happy to provide training.
  • CYO Track is looking for a Track Meet Announcer. This person will be the announcer during Track Meets.

Art Summer Camps with Ms. Kay

Join Ms. Kay for Art Camps this summer! Explore various media and unleash your creative spirit! Ms. Kay will host two sessions: morning and afternoon.

Details:

  • Ages 6-12
  • Dates: June 17, 18, 20 & 21 (no class June 19)
  • Students signed up for both sessions will stay with Ms. Kay for lunch and should pack a cold lunch, snacks and a water bottle.
  • Fee: $305. Refunds will not be issued after 05/15/24, and fees will not be prorated if the student registers after classes start, stops instruction before the end of the program, or misses class for illness, sports, trips, etc.

      • Time: 9:30am-12:30pm. Register here.
