From the Principal – Conference time

Dear Families,

The teachers have spent many hours preparing for conferences. They know they have a short amount of time with each of you and they want to be sure that the time is well spent. On your behalf, I thank the teachers for the extra time and effort they put forth to making the conferences meaningful.

Students in many grades have already completed self-assessments based on the Schoolwide Learning Expectations. They have evaluated their own performance and are setting goals. Talk to your children, encourage them to persist and then celebrate each goal!

The MAP results are only one small piece of data in the evidence we look at for each learner. However, this is our first time taking the test and I know that many of you have questions. We have posted a link on the website to help you understand the results.

We are excited about the opening of Crispin’s Kitchen.  Hot lunch service begins soon.  Be sure to get your orders in for the month!  See below.  On Friday, November 4, Fr. Crispin will bless the new facility as well as the new Lending Library located near the flagpole.  After school the kitchen will be open to parents and students to tour and taste a sample of the menu offerings.

I miss seeing you as you come in for your conferences. I am recuperating from sinus surgery and will see you all next week.

Blessings,
Bernadette O’Leary
