It’s official! The 2020 St. John Auction theme is: “Be True to Your School!” The Auction will once again be held at the wonderful and spacious Fremont Studios on Friday, April 3, 2020. Grab your team gear, your ‘koozies’ and practice up on your cornhole game…it’s going to be the best “TAILGATE” in Seattle! More details to follow in the coming weeks. Until then, mark your calendars with these important dates:
- October 30 – Auction Guidebooks will be sent home with the youngest child in your family.
- November 20 – First procurement drop-off date. Look for volunteers with pom poms at morning drop-off, and they will happily take your items and procurement forms and transfer them to the Auction office. Don’t worry, we will have additional drop-off dates, but all families turning in items on this day will be entered into a drawing for 2 BINGO Night tickets!
- December 20 – Early sponsorship deadline. Sponsors who sign up by December 20 will be eligible for a 10% discount.
- January 10 – BINGO Night…it’s back! This fun, adults only event helps underwrite Auction costs.
Volunteer Opportunities There are many places for volunteers to participate, one of which is the Auction Swap! Volunteer at St. Al’s Auction on Saturday, November 16 from 5:30-8:30pm. Our volunteers helping at their auction means they help at ours in April! Email us to chat about other volunteer opportunities.
If you missed your chance to purchase last year’s popular Auction item – “Free Dress for Two Fridays!” – you can do so until November 21!
- Your child(ren) can come to school in Free Dress on Friday, November 22 and Friday, January 10. The cost is $25 per child with all monies going to support St. John School. To purchase by credit card, visit our Free Dress Link or you may send a check payable to St. John School, Attn: Auction and include “Free Dress” and your student’s name in the memo.
