Meet ‘n Greets

Faculty and staff are busily preparing for our new school year. We look forward to seeing you all at the Meet ‘n Greets, September 1-3. If you haven’t done so, make a Meet ‘n Greet conference with your teacher:  Meet ‘n Greet Conference. The deadline to reserve a space is 9pm Tuesday, August 31. A few reminders as you come on the campus:

  • Universal Masking:  Face coverings/masks remain one of the most effective tools to prevent transmission of COVID-19. All staff, students and on-campus visitors must continue to wear face coverings/masks inside the buildings and outside on parish school grounds, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Proof of Vaccination:  Vaccinations, in combination with face coverings and masks, are the most effective method in the prevention of getting and transmitting COVID-19. Catholic Schools are required to track vaccinations for staff, volunteers, and students. If you plan to volunteer at school or coach this year, please be prepared to share confirmation of vaccination. Please bring proof of vaccination to your Meet ‘n Greet appointment. To verify vaccination, acceptable documentation includes:
    • CDC vaccination card, which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date(s) administered, or a photo of the vaccination card
    • Documentation of vaccination from a health care provider with the information listed above
    • State immunization information system record with the information listed above
    • Verbal attestation for vaccination is not acceptable
    • The school will not keep a copy of vaccination documentation
  • Physical Distancing:  As you enter the classroom please note CDC guidance calls for maintaining physical distance of three feet or more between students in classroom settings to the degree possible and reasonable that allow for full-time, in-person learning for all students.
  • Please Review Orientation Map:  Staff will be positioned at the top of the east alley entry to the parking lot to verify vaccination status upon your entry to campus. Please allow for extra time to process each family before your scheduled appointment. The parking lot will not be open. Please park in the neighborhood. Greenwood Elementary School is in session Wednesday-Friday so prepare for extra pedestrians and traffic in the neighborhood. Thank you for exiting campus promptly at the conclusion of your appointment time. Do note that students in grades K-5 may bring supplies to drop off in classrooms at this time; students in grades 6-8 are to bring supplies to class on September 7
  • Uniform Exchange is Open:  Please visit the Uniform Exchange if you are in need of uniform items. The demand for gently used jumpers has exceeded our supply. If you have jumpers to donate, please consider dropping them off before or after your appointment. Thank you parent volunteer, Temry Lathrop, for organizing the space.
